Enrollment Process
Step 1
Request Information/Campus Visit
Come take a tour of our school and sit down with our Director. Children are eligible for admission at the age of 18 months. Please request an information packet and/or schedule a visit by contacting us at 908-233-2330 or precious.people@gmail.com
Step 2
Complete an Enrollment Form
The admission process begins with a tour of the school. Children are enrolled on a first-come, first-serve basis, depending on availability in the most developmentally appropriate class. Children are placed on a waiting list if there is no availability in the most appropriate class. To place your child’s name on the wait list, you must complete the Enrollment Application form.
Step 3
Notification
After parents are notified of the admission date, you must complete the Precious People Enrollment Application and pay the non-refundable registration fee of $100. Upon notification that you have been accepted, a fully signed Enrollment Application needs to be submitted along with the first two weeks’ tuition as a deposit are required to reserve your child’s space.
School Hours & Closures
We are open 7:00am to 5:30pm for 50 weeks of the year. The Center’s school year runs from the Tuesday after Labor Day until the third week in June and our Summer Camp extends throughout the summer until the last week of August.
We do not follow the public school calendar which gives our families significant coverage and flexibility.

Health and Safety: Our Comprehensive Standards
We maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety to ensure a healthy learning environment for all children and staff. Our comprehensive health and safety protocols include:
Daily Cleaning and Disinfecting
All surfaces, toys, and learning materials are cleaned and disinfected throughout the day, with special attention to high-touch areas like doorknobs, light switches, and bathroom facilities. We use child-safe, EPA-approved disinfectants that are effective against viruses and bacteria while being gentle on little hands and lungs.
Classroom Maintenance
Each classroom receives thorough cleaning at the end of every day, including floors, tables, chairs, and all play areas. Toys and manipulatives are sanitized after each use when possible, and always at day's end. Soft furnishings and dress-up clothes are laundered regularly.
Health Monitoring
We conduct daily health screenings and maintain strict illness policies to protect our school community. Children showing signs of illness are cared for separately until pickup, and we follow state guidelines for return-to-school requirements after illness.
Safety Protocols
Our facility features secure entry systems, age-appropriate playground equipment that's regularly inspected, and child-proofed environments throughout. All staff are trained in first aid and CPR, and we maintain emergency action plans for various scenarios.
Nutrition and Hygiene
We promote healthy eating habits and proper handwashing techniques throughout the day. Hand sanitizing stations are available, and children are guided in developing good hygiene practices as part of their daily routine.
Enhanced Protocols
We follow guidelines from the CDC and state health departments, adapting our procedures as recommendations evolve. Air circulation is optimized in all spaces, and we maintain appropriate ventilation throughout our facilities.
Staff Training and Compliance
All team members receive regular training on health, safety, and cleaning procedures. We maintain current certifications, conduct background checks, and ensure consistent implementation of all protocols across our facility.
Transparency and Communication
Parents are always welcome to ask about our health and safety procedures. We believe that open communication about these practices helps build trust and ensures everyone feels confident in our shared commitment to children's wellbeing.
